Serenity 11'4'' 20 grams - 308 grains

The worlds lightest double handed rod because of the casting weight. Do not mix this up with switch rods, when treated as a mini double hander the 11’4’’ allows you to get into the places other anglers can’t manoeuvre, its perfect environment is narrow rivers and awkward surroundings where the light line allows you to gently place the fly in the right place without the fish knowing you are there.

Line and reel recommendation:
WF Shooter - 20 grams/308 grains
All Logic heads - 20 grams/308 grains
Short-cut heads – 20 grams/308 grains
Logic RL. 0.028 or 0.030
Gravity reel size no. 2

Serenity 12' 24 gram - 370 grains

There is something about the 24 gram line weight rods from Salmologic that just feels right. The 12’ Serenity shines brightly and is a rod that can take you from the beginning of the season right through to the last days of autumn. Despite casting such a light line weight this rod has some serious backbone and can really cover a lot of water. Matched with the logic heads and long leaders you will be completely invisible to the fish, when you need to fish the bigger fly, deep and fish every inch of the pool then the short cuts add even more diversity to this rod.

Line and reel recommendation:
All Logic heads – 24 grams/370 grains
Short-cut heads – 24 grams/370 grains
Logic RL. 0.030
Gravity reel size no. 3

Serenity 13' 28 gram - 432 grains

This is the Serenity model that really left a lasting impression for me when I first tried it, I could feel everything, you might pick it up and label it as a fast action blank but once you make those first casts you quickly realise it has depth, you can really feel the power coming from the lower sections of the rod. If you are fishing medium to large rivers at home or abroad then this model needs to be seriously considered, 28 grams is capable of casting as big a fly as you need and at the same time the line lands gently on the surface. If you share a beat with other anglers the lighter line is often what gives you the edge over the others.

Line and reel recommendation:
All Logic heads – 28 grams/432 grains
Logic RL. 0.032
Gravity reel size no. 3 or no. 4

Serenity 12'10'' 31 gram - 478 grains

31 gram/478 grains is without doubt one of the most popular line sizes in the series so there had to be a special fly rod to accompany that line class. The 12’10’’ has so much power, line speed and precision that it really makes you wonder why anglers persist with longer rods. Salmologic have issued a warning to all who try it - ‘this rod is highly addictive, so please try it at your own risk.”

Line and reel recommendation:
All Logic heads - 31 grams/478 grains
Logic RL. 0.032 – 0.034
Gravity reel size no. 3 or no. 4

Serenity 13'6'' 35 gram - 540 grains

This is the one to call for when you need to do the serious work! Big flies, big casts and big fish. If you are travelling in search of a seriously big Salmon then this rod is the one to rely on. Despite casting the heaviest lines in the range this rod makes light work of it, even after a full days fishing it dosnt’t feel like you have had the heavy guns out, this means you can fish harder for longer. Light, strong, reliable and it fits in a suitcase!

Line and reel recommendation:
All Logic heads - 35 grams/540 grains
Logic RL. 0.034
Gravity reel size no. 4
